This is a blog about my Tatting. My stitching can be seen on Wendystitches.blogspot.com. More of my handicrafts can be seen on Wendy's Crafty Hands at www.handicrafts.org.uk
I need to do that! That's a cute idea.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I usually save shorter bits for using to hide thread ends (when you have to tat over a looped thread and use it to pull your ends back through a ring or a chain).
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I do, 1 metre left makes a Jane Eb SCMR butterfly, less makes flowers, even less ties up skeins for dyeing, less that 3in gets thrown away!!
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of people do the butterflies or so I've heard. That's very frugal of you!
ReplyDeleteI do that too. I make the butterfles and I do little (I call them) flowers...just a ring with lots of picots and I put them on cards or whatever. I hate to throw away thread and try not to if I can help it. Happy Holidays!
